We do not select blow bars on hardness alone. Feed size, abrasiveness and the risk of uncrushable objects guide the assessment of manganese, martensitic and high-chromium materials. Fit with the rotor seat is checked against technical drawings.
Material suitability depends on the application. Rotor attachment, blow bar orientation and replacement procedure are verified against equipment documentation.
